I recognized that for every improvement technology has given us, it also took away part of who we are.

This will not lead to a scenario where the machines rebel against humanity, such as we often see in science-fiction movies. This is a scenario where the machines obey one or a group of humans, and do exactly as they’re told in order to help their masters gain a disproportionate amount of evil power over other humans, good or evil alike.

We’re going to be in trouble, if you ask me, even if the machines are trying to deliver exactly what we ask them to deliver. It is inevitable because we will never agree on our intentions, so . . . . . . AI will never fully understand what it is that we actually need.
