I hated it, but I loved her. And love, as I was learning, had a fuck of a lot of sacrifice.
“First and foremost, I’m a villain. A monster. I never expected a happy ending for my life. I doubt I'll get it. Knowing you would've been free from pain and torture would've been the happiest of endings. Anything else would've gutted me. So yes, maybe I am sick, but it’s a sickness that only wants you to not suffer.”
“Yeah, B. This shit is banging. Dom would’ve made a good chef if he didn’t enjoy killing people,” Vincent said around a mouthful of bread.
