My parents taught me at a young age that beauty is what you perceive it to be, so if you have a thought going around in your brain that you need to change something, you will focus on it and focus on it until you hate it. I hated my body when I couldn’t carry a child. But slowly, I’m starting to love her again. Even after I blamed her, caused her pain, she is still me and I am still her. And I only have this one body, so I best be good to her.
