EVERYONE IS BORN BASICALLY THE SAME WAY: bloody and screaming. We come out of our mothers, shriek with our first breath, and find ourselves lost in a world that we don’t understand.
Alive or dead, the world turns on faith, and on the idea that someday, somehow, we’re going to get our just rewards, and the chance to finally rest. I didn’t believe it when I was alive. I definitely don’t believe it now. These days, I’m just happy if I have time to finish a cheeseburger before the shit starts hitting the fan.
But I’ll tell you this: the road is as long as you want it to be, and every accident can be a blessing, if you’re willing to look past the bad parts and find the good ones, like the friends who wait for you on the other side.
