Belief in God was a mental weakness, revealing a need for a sense of belonging and higher purpose: desires poets were supposed to master.

When people said, Convince me, she knew it didn’t mean they had an open mind. It meant they had power and wanted to enjoy it a minute.

But more importantly, relying on a single source of information means you can’t critically evaluate it.

They seemed to enjoy challenges more than people.
