Someone that makes you happy, that loves you, and takes you out to dinner because he wants to, and not out of some social obligation. Someone who wouldn’t dream of forgetting your birthday because he’s been planning a surprise for months; a man that makes you come alive in the bedroom. One that spends his days thinking about what he wants to do to you in bed and can’t wait for the second he can blow off work to do it. We’re all busy, but we have to make time for the things and people that matter.
Angel. The name he reserved for certain times when baby didn’t feel right. When he needed something—more.

“So, you’re the man that has me battling midday Atlanta traffic so my best friend can give you a blow job.
I have a flash of a smaller human that looks exactly like him giving me a similar pout and my heart melts.

My thoughts go back to the five stages I was thinking about earlier. Shock, laughter, sadness, anger…what’s after that? Rage.
