while we might have a magnet on our fridge reminding us that “comparison is the thief of joy,” it’s profoundly difficult to counter the effects of living in a culture that constantly tells mothers that they need to do and be more. Embracing a sense of “enoughness” as a parent requires heroic levels of resilience and inner confidence.
