How are you spending your time, energy, and money? If you have the time, it can be helpful to sketch out a typical day, week, or month. You might also take a look at recent bank statements. What patterns do you notice? What is your family’s current carbon footprint? This is another way to look at how you’re spending energy, in a very literal sense, and there are a number of carbon footprint calculators available online.
