If your heart rate quickens or you have tears in your eyes in this one part, that’s okay! That means you are in the story. Let us see and feel that emotion! But if you’re still feeling overwhelmed and worried that you’ll start crying and won’t be able to stop, and your stomach is in knots, that’s your body saying no. And remember, it’s probably not a “No, never tell this” but a “No, not yet.” You have to control your story; the story can’t control you.
