For our purposes, gospel ministry is any activity that proclaims the gospel or directly attends to its proclamation. Though not immediately obvious, this includes all religious instruction. From a biblical standpoint, the goal of any Christian teaching is not to stand on its own but ultimately to communicate the gospel (1 Cor. 2:2; Heb. 6:1).
