I do not pretend to understand human beings.

It was truly heartwarming to realize that I had been missed, and if only I had a heart, I am sure it would have been warmed.

We can track him, find him, listen in on him—with this stuff we can hear him fart from a mile away.” I really did want to get into the spirit of things here, but it was very hard to show any interest in Weiss’s digestive process, and I hoped it wasn’t absolutely essential for Chutsky’s plan.

By the time I got back to my little cubby at headquarters, I had sweated away most of my artificial human covering and I wanted nothing more out of life than to take a shower, put on some dry clothes, and then possibly slice up somebody who thoroughly deserved it.
