“I’ll get you to change your mind.”

“Good luck with that,” she sasses, and a small piece of the fun-loving girl I met that day at the game finally reappears. “Game on, baby.” I smirk and turn to follow Drew out of the room.

“Nothing in life worth having is easy.”

“I thought you wanted to be friends.” “I do want to be your friend. But, Paisley, it’s more than that. I want to be your everything.” She sucks in a breath. “That’s a bold statement, Taylor.”
