Do you really want that thing in your life? Will you be happier after achieving that goal? Maybe you will discover that what you think you want so badly is not that important after all.  For example, you could find out that having children is not what you really want, just something you think you should do to feel complete.  Do the same with all the different pieces of paper and repeat the exercise three more times during the week to ensure that you truly want those things.
