This Way Out

I realise I have tunnel-visioned on myself and my issues for so long, it hasn’t even occurred to me that I am not unique. I feel a little bit ashamed.

It is unfathomable that he can turn me away for a god that he’s never met. Is that more real to him than my flesh and bone standing before him?
