I'd woken up on the eleventh of June with the image seared right into the backs of my eyelids and the urge to mark my skin with it itching at me so insistently that I'd headed out that day to get it done. The Dragon and the Phoenix curved around each other like they were playing out a scene from legends long since dead but something about the way the two of them almost seemed to actually move across my skin always set me at peace when I looked at them.
I’d never once been tempted by a student, or remotely interested in the fantasy of the forbidden. But she was so star damned alluring, and so fucking powerful, her talking to me like I commanded her respect was a sin in itself which my cock liked way too much.
“I think Darcy might be a Siren,” I said and his brows arched. “Oh yeah? Why do you think that?” he asked. “It’s just a vibe. Like she’s trying to manipulate my feelings or something,” I muttered and he nodded slowly. “Yeah now you say it, Roxy could be one too,” he said thoughtfully. “Really? You felt it from her as well?” I asked hopefully, latching onto this explanation with both hands. “Yeah, like a sort of pull...” “Exactly,” I agreed and relief fell between us.

I don't feel like they're ever going to claim the throne from us anyway. Not if we keep building on our knowledge and refining our magic. How could they ever catch up to us in skill? And it’s not like our power is

“Now listen to me, Orio,” he said, slamming the empty bottle down on the kitchen counter and my spine straightened at the bossiness to his tone. “You have to start paying attention to your instincts. And I know you’re the most negative asshole in the world, but I’m telling you there’s hope here. There’s a way out of this shit pit you call a life.”
Now that i finished ruthless boys and got back to zodiac, i love gabriel far more than i did in that series
“Gabriel,” I gasped, gripping his shoulder hard. “What’s going on?” “You need to go,” he said, panic flashing in his eyes. “Go where?” I asked in confusion. “To Darius. Now, Lance,” he said frantically. “He’s about to go home to kill his father. The Guardian bond will draw you to him the moment the fight begins. And you’ll die in the crossfire before Darius is brought to his knees at Lionel’s feet.”
