Your goal of intervening on a negative feeling is to find the encouraging message behind your negative feeling. The secret to transforming something ugly into something beautiful is to repurpose the ugly so it serves you.

What if you were envious of the strengths and talents you possess that you’ve not yet accessed. If you intervene on the feeling of envy with that intention, it’s not long before you’ll find there is no quality of character others possess that you do not possess. You are infinitely rich with promise. Is that not worth envying?
