"I'm disgustingly attracted to you right now," he hissed, eyes black and nostrils flaring. Oh god, if goblins had some advanced scent nonsense... I was ashamed of myself, ashamed of my body's response. "Likewise," I bit out, my teeth bared. "I hate you so much." His mouth flicked up, his sharp-planed face taut with desire and revulsion. "The feeling, Zabaletta, is mutual."
One false move, and he'd find himself bleeding from a stab wound, goblin moon or no goblin moon.
"Kiss me again, and I'll kill you,"
Kier's eyes flared with obvious arousal. The psycho liked when I threatened him? Well, he'd love it when I buried my knife in his throat on the goblin moon.
"How many knives do you actually have?" asked my husband's unmistakable voice, unusually scratchy. Had he slept here beside me? Had he just woken up, too? I narrowed my eyes as I turned over, reminding myself to be sweet because he got bored of it easily but unable to hold back my ire. "Enough to cut your dick off before you can blink,"
"I think I might enjoy being stabbed by you," he replied with a smirk. "Are you insane?" I asked, shaking my head. "Possibly,"
Ugh, Rook was right. I had feelings for him. Disgusting.
