So, prove it. Because here’s the thing: you can’t buy integrity.

Which forces the question, what sort of labor do we value in our society?

Especially with regard to who gets to immigrate for work opportunities and who doesn’t.

Every shit experience helps me to see all the problems I talk about in my spaces today. I’m not grateful for them, but they have played their part in making me the person I am today.

We were consuming each other’s consumption, and then consuming ourselves.

It’s pretty well documented that cis white able-bodied influencers receive more sponsorship and better fees than everyone else in so many different arenas.

It’s not because the locals thought it was better. It was forcefully imposed.

But it’s not just clothing that can be weaponized in a system built off colonialism. It’s food. It’s land. It’s hair. It’s body hair. It’s spirituality. It’s sexuality.

If you take away a food source from a group of people, that is active genocide.
