“There is a time and place for dwelling on the past,” the king said, observing Arthur thoughtfully. “I firmly believe that we should respect what has come before, but be sure that we are always learning from it; to emulate the good, and acknowledge the bad, and always be striving toward progress.”
“What’s that smell?” she said, as he held out an arm and she took it. “Oh, lovely, that’s just what a person likes to hear in lieu of greeting.”
“It’s not a dream,” Gwen said. “Trust me. In the dream, you’re always on a unicorn.”
