Adults were like that so much of the time, inflexible when they thought they had something to protect.
* I like breaking away from notion that adults are always right by virtue of being adults. I think Fifth Season did this too. Sometimes the adults are wrong too. I like when the kids know they are right. It not being childish or hubris.
