‘What MND patients want most is to be surrounded by love.’ Why? Because we know we haven’t got as much time as we’d want. But everyone’s dying, when you think about it. From the moment you’re born, you’ve only got so long left. So why not surround yourself with love all the time, like I’ve tried to? Why wait for the rough patch?
