He looks at me in surprise, and I shrug, feeling embarrassed. “I grabbed one a few days ago to keep in my bag.” When he continues to stare, I sigh. “I thought you might forget one day, so I keep one in case,” I confess. His smile starts out slow before it grows into a wide grin. It makes me shuffle in my seat and my cheeks heat. “It’s no big deal,” I grumble as he leans in, tilting my chin up so I’m looking at him again, and then he kisses me. “It’s a big deal. No one has cared enough to do that before,” he whispers.
