“Because war is good for humanity and it’s good for internal stability. I’ll freely admit that I don’t have a very elevated view of humanity as a whole. We are petty, contentious, and always looking to grab more power. Humans do not thrive in Utopian paradise—our nature won’t allow for it. We need enemies to fight, and when there isn’t an external enemy, we turn into cannibals and attack ourselves.
