Bharat’s civilisation is not one that reduces nature to just another branch of study, namely ‘environmentalism’, to be ticked off as just another box in an environmental impact assessment checklist. Instead, it puts nature right at the heart of its worldview and sees divinity in every aspect, form and manifestation of nature.
