“I’m the freak who’s gonna steal your girl.” His nostrils flare and Travis closes his eyes, dropping his head to pinch the bridge of his nose. “Fucking hell, Xan.”
Something about her just calls to me in a way I’ve never experienced before. She looks so put together and fake and trapped and so fucking hot I can’t stand it. She looks like mine.
“Hey, Jordyn?” “It’s JJ,” she grits out, stopping half way up the front steps to face me fully. “You were wrong before.” “About what?” “I don’t want a princess,” I tell her, shamelessly moving my eyes over her sexy little outfit. “That little devil inside you? I wanna play with her.”
The fact that he’s not even trying to hide his hunger for me turns me on more than I care to admit, and I’m pretty sure I’m in way over my head here.
I accidentally stumbled upon the girl I want for life at eighteen years old and I’m fucking keeping her. Indefinitely.
“Xan,” I whisper, hesitating a second before I decide to tell him. “I think I’m falling for you.” A light laugh leaves him and he smiles against my lips, still moving with me to the beat of the music. “Baby, I’ve already fallen.”
“I love you, Jordyn James,” I tell her again, slower this time. “Whether you like it or not, I love you and I’m not letting you go. Not today. Not ever.”
