My brows dip and I run my tongue bar over my teeth, hiding a grin when her eyes drop to follow the sound. “Fine.” I nod, pushing myself off my car to level with her. “I’ll keep your little college secret, but now you have to do something for me.” “And what’s that?” “Kiss me.”
“She wants you to fuck her like you hate her.”
“Hey, Jordyn?” My jaw ticks but I refrain from correcting him, knowing he’ll just continue to call me that anyway. “What?” “I dare you to play a game with me.”
“You’re perfect just the way you are, Jordyn. Don’t let any fucker tell you different.”
Without thinking too much into it, I wrap my arm around her back and pull her into me, molding her to my chest while I lean over to tease her lips with mine. I’d kill for her to let me put a bar through that hot little tongue of hers, to have her look up at me from her knees while she licks the length of my cock with it.
He slides his hands down to my ass and I moan before I can stop it, tightening my grip on his hair while I drop my eyes to his mouth. My heart races and I run my tongue over my lips, wanting it more than my next breath but too chicken to take it. “Fuck, baby,” he rasps, sounding just as worked up as I am. “You want me to kiss you, don’t you?”
Right then, I decide I’m keeping her for myself, mostly because I want to but also because fuck this. She doesn’t need those nasty motherfuckers filling her head with this bullshit. Not now she has me.
“I don’t want her, baby. She’s got nothing on the way I feel about you.” “How do you feel about me?” “Like I wanna kiss you until you can’t breathe.”
“Xan,” she says quietly, not looking up from her laptop while she continues to tap away on it. “Yeah, baby?” “Why are you staring at me like that?” “Because I’m obsessed with you,” I say simply, enjoying the light laugh leaving her while she shakes her head like I’m joking.
I accidentally stumbled upon the girl I want for life at eighteen years old and I’m fucking keeping her. Indefinitely.
“Do you want kids?” I blurt out, immediately kicking myself for asking him that. Nice work, idiot. “Yeah,” he answers, not even a little bit put out by my stupidity. “Two boys and a girl. I want us to have the boys first, though, so they can protect her when they’re older. Me and Nik always wanted a little sister.” I blink at that, slowly pulling back to look at him. “That was a joke, right?” “No. We wanted to call her Frankie.”
“Xan,” I whisper, hesitating a second before I decide to tell him. “I think I’m falling for you.” A light laugh leaves him and he smiles against my lips, still moving with me to the beat of the music. “Baby, I’ve already fallen.”
“Will you give me a tattoo?” she asks out of nowhere, tipping her head back on my shoulder to look at me.
“Not a fucking chance,” I whisper. “You can’t just break up with me whenever you feel like it.” “Why the hell not?” “Because you’re mine and I’m yours. Because I love you and you love me. It’s that fucking simple.”
“I love you, Jordyn James,” I tell her again, slower this time. “Whether you like it or not, I love you and I’m not letting you go. Not today. Not ever.”
