Maybe in Another Life

There are a lot of people out there who find the person they believe they are supposed to be with, and it doesn’t work out because they have other things they have to do,

“I’ll be here through every part of it. I’d do anything for you, do you know that? Does it help? To know that I’d move mountains for you? That I’d part seas?”

It’s nice to have someone in my corner. It makes me more confident that I can do this.

If you love someone, if you think you could make them happy for the rest of your life together, then nothing should stop you. You should be prepared to take them as they are and deal with the consequences.

I think if you truly love someone, you accept the circumstances; you don’t hide behind them.”

“Well, I’m sure I’ll be seeing you,” I say. “Some way or another.” “Yeah,” he says. “Or maybe in another life.”
