Research suggests that daughters whose fathers who are involved with homework and encourage their daughters to take challenging courses have higher levels of sociability, a higher level of school performance, and fewer behavior problems. Interestingly, daughters of fathers like these are also more likely to have high-paying jobs as adults.13
