“You can love a monster, it can even love you back, but that doesn’t change its nature.” ~ Eliza Crewe
My first thought is that he’s beautiful, but there is something almost lethal-looking about him. Like a poisonous flower, gorgeous but deadly.
It’s the kind of love that pulls you into its current before drowning you in its unforgiving inky depths.
“You’re mine. You might not understand it right now, Ivy, but you will. I’m not a good man, but I can be good to you.”
“Are you getting wet at the thought of my hand making your ass red? I wouldn’t go easy on you. If you earn a punishment, you’ll get what you deserve. But if you take it like a good girl I might reward you.”
“Alright, sweet Ivy. You get yourself all glammed up and I’ll take you out on a date tonight, but…” I look up at him. All gentleness is wiped from his face. “If anyone touches you, I’ll cut their fingers off and shove them down their throats.” Yeah, Atlas doesn’t do sweet at all.
“You’re mine now, Ivy. It will be my ring on your finger and my seed in your belly. If you try to run from me again, I’ll lock you up, shackle you to me figuratively and literally to keep you by my side. Don’t push me, baby, because you’ll never win, not against me,” he warns me before licking away my tears.
“I’m not a good man, Ivy, but I can be good to you.” He breathes against my lips. He said this to me before, right at the start, but I never paid much attention. I’m sure as shit listening now.
Do you want to hurt me?” “Sometimes.” He admits. “I like it when you scream.”
He drugged me. He. Drugged. Me. I tell myself this over and over because I just can’t get my head around it. And yet, here I stand, sipping coffee in his kitchen like it’s normal.
If you ever find yourself in a situation like this or the one you did with my father, I don’t want you to ever question my loyalty to you. You’re only focus is survival. I’ll find who took you and I’ll come for you. After I’ve killed them, I’ll fuck you in a pool of their blood to remind you who you belong to. I will never look at you as anything less than I do right now. And Ivy, you already know you’re everything to me.”
Ivy doesn’t need a hero to carry her away, she needs a villain to cut and slay anyone who stands in her path. Lucky for her, a little blood never bothered me.
