Ronan towered over me like a marble column, unmovable and steady. He flustered me, and that wasn’t something I was used to feeling. I took on rowdy, heavy metal crowds of thousands without flinching, but this beautiful, put-together man turned me into a mumbling wallflower. Which really proved why we shouldn’t continue. From the look of determination on Ronan’s face, it probably didn’t matter what I thought. It seemed he had already made up his mind.
