This was Knox. How he was a giant cat, I didn’t have a clue. I died and came back as a streaker, so I certainly wasn’t going to judge him for his level of freakiness.
If he wanted to magic himself into a giant cat, I would enjoy having a big kitty to pet.
I tried to give my brain a stern talking to, but I was failing miserably.
So, I did the thing that only the insane would do, I extended my hand to pet him. Sure, it was crazy, but let’s be real… I always knew I would die trying to pet something I shouldn’t. Actually, this wouldn’t even be the first time that had happened, and it certainly wouldn’t be the last.
Dagger grabbed his own clothing and I tried to look away. Okay, I didn’t try very hard.
Give a girl food and she will tell you all her darkest secrets. It was definitely the way to my heart.
“You are a selfish brat who threw a tantrum when she didn’t get her way!” “And you’re a grey sprinkle on a rainbow cupcake!”
Ironic that the girl who couldn’t stay dead feared it so much that she stopped living. Enough! Even with all my precautions, my life had still been a cursed mess. It was time for a change. I was going to live as though I was dying. Let’s be real, with how things have been going lately, I’ll probably die at least once more this week.
It was bizarre to hear someone talk about death as though it was nothing more than a bad day.
