"Where's Roary?" I demanded and Gustard laughed bitterly. "Dead. Along with everyone else. Thanks to you and your bullshit plan." He lunged at me in fury, but Ethan swung at him before he even got close, his fist colliding with Gustard’s cheek and knocking him back on his ass. “No,” I refused again in a furious growl because it wasn’t true. I wouldn’t let it be true. If Roary was dead then I would be as well. My heart had belonged to him for so long that there was simply no chance that it could still be beating if it wasn’t doing so for him.
