There is also an emphasis on enjoining what is good (amr-bil-ma’roof), forbidding the wrong (nahi-anil-munkar), paying an additional wealth tax for the needy of 20 percent (khums), striving for the sake of Allah with yourself and your wealth (jihad), loving the believers and friends of Allah (tawalla), disassociating from those who do not honor the path of goodness that the Prophet paved (tabarra).
“We have commanded people to honor their parents, but if they urge you to associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, then do not obey them. To Me is your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do” (29:8).
