The Intangible

When the world is inexplicable, our explanations are apt to be creative.

And when the math came, she felt as if she were scooping it from unvisitable regions of the cosmos, like water from the sea. She could drink and drink and never be sated. The magic was in the intangibility of it.

To him, the revelations of science were magic. To others, science pulled back the curtain and revealed a lackluster world they didn’t wish to live in.
