Racial profiling is the inevitable result of the degradation of Fourth Amendment protections. Understand, it is unconstitutional to stop somebody because of their race. (That protection doesn’t come from the Fourth Amendment—which was part of the initial Bill of Rights written by the collection of colonizers and slavers who wrote the Constitution—but the Fourteenth Amendment’s guarantees of equal protection and substantive due process.
