“Rule number two - this weekend is about us! Bet not a fucking soul propose, announce a pregnancy or any good news surrounding our day. I don’t give a fuck if your tooth comes out, yall better slip that shit under your pillow for the tooth fairy and keep it pushing.” He ignored Kimmy. He was an asshole and it was already established.
“They better not be. I’ll cut them muthafuckas off. You’ll be rolling down the aisle in a wheelchair.” King strolled into the room.
“Just you, B. You're all I see.” King pressed into her.
“I’m straight. B is my baby and I love her, but if she can’t see that I changed, what more am I supposed to do?”
“Damn B, stop acting like you don’t know you have that nigga wrapped around your finger. He went from fucking different bitches every night to chasing you. Even when he got you, he still had to chase you. I’m not saying that he’s been perfect but give that man credit. He grew up in a household where we didn’t respect women, yet he proposed to you, and you fucking left him. Yeah, the situation looked fucked up, but you’re supposed to trust your nigga. This ain’t all on him.”
With you, there are no rules. I love you, B, and I love you even more for mending the heart I didn’t know was cracked. I’m going to spend the rest of my life loving you, filling you up with babies, and getting on your nerves. Just say I do and let me do the rest.”
