Hell of a Book

He was a man who had been afraid of the eyes of others for all of his life.

One of the truths we often overlook is that we are, all of us, always wandering the universe.

I’m not sure Black people can be happy in this world. There’s just too much of a backstory of sadness that’s always clawing at their heels.

Disappearing was a way out of everything in his life. Disappearing was a way out of the cycle of violence.
