POM = The “Peace of Mind” variable is an arbitrary percentage of your money-system which represents liquid, surplus cash providing you with insurance from lengthy economic recessions and/or stock market crashes. This is also calculated on a pre-tax basis (divided by [1 - tax rate]). In Unscripted Book One, I called this the “fuck you” pot—money you can use to pursue passion projects or hobbies.
