He hadn’t been involved in my ordeal, so I just gave him a gentle nip on his rear to ensure he maintained a healthy dose of fear. Plus, hearing him scream like a girl as he mooned the world was the most fun I’d had in a while.
Before Cage could so much as breathe out a single word, he was gone. My dragon licked my lips, pleased with himself. “Bro! You just ate him raw!” Damien cried out. “Haven’t you heard you should cook your meat first? Nasty! Who knows where he had been? You just ate a raw—”
Then, a high-pitched scream pierced the air from the door, and it began to rain scrambled eggs. “Damien, what is wrong with you?” Myth snapped as he flicked an egg off the shoulder of his suit. Damien didn’t even acknowledge his brother. Instead, he flashed through the room like a ninja and landed on the worm, I mean Cage. A gross squelching sound followed. “Ew! Ew! Ew!” Damien’s feet landed over and over on the squished worm. He shivered and peered around the floor with his now empty frying pan raised next to his head as if he thought worms were going to begin attacking him at any moment.
