I will wilt after he leaves. He is my sun.

The thing is, most would consider special days to be holidays, weddings, and first dates, but it’s the regular days that are the most special.

“All we own in this life are our memories.”

She is looking at me. Really looking. Like maybe she’s finally seeing me.

“What I can do is promise to love you until one of us is called home.”
