“Do I make you nervous, pretty girl?” he rumbles. He moves in a little more, his nose almost brushing mine, his hand still covering my neck. “No,” I answer firmly, bluffing, like I’m in a game of poker with my life at stake. The corner of his mouth moves a little, as if a smile is trying to sneak through before his face returns to the stoic look he’s allegedly famous for. “Your throbbing pulse tells me otherwise.”
There is a burning desire to run up to her and pull her back by her hair, to tell her it’s unwise to fuck with me unless she actually wants to get fucked by me.
“I’m going to explore every inch of your body, leaving no piece of skin untouched until I find your most responsive spots. The spots that make you come undone with just a single touch, a single kiss, a single stroke of my tongue. I will push your buttons, every single one of them until it feels like torture, and then, only then, will I make you combust in my hands, erasing from your memory every man who came before me.”
“I thought you always get what you want?” “I do. I’m having you in my bed tonight. There is no denying that. Me giving you an out is just a courtesy. Don’t think I won’t be able to convince you if you tell me no. I will. And you will say yes.”
“You’ll kill me, Franklin.” “I know,” I agree, “but I will also bring you back, baby.”
“Mmm, what are you doing, Franklin?” “I want more, pretty girl. A lot more,” I murmur against her skin, ready to do it all over again.
I hate that he can still make me feel like I’m his little toy he can touch whenever he wants. A damn broken toy.
“Your panties are wet.” “I blame you,” I tell him as I lick his lower lip, resulting in a groan from him. “You better.”
“I want it rough, pretty girl. I want to own you. Can you handle that?”
“My girl likes it hard. Good.”
“Fuck me, Franklin. Fuck me like I’m yours,” I plead against his lips. “You are mine, Kendall Ryan.”
Fuck, the amount of stress I endured in those ten seconds probably took off at least five years of my life.
“I can’t be in heaven. I’m pretty sure Killian was planning on sending me to hell.”
“You almost took a bullet for me.” “I didn’t, but I’ll take every bullet for you if I have to, Kenny.”
″You’ll be working for us now until the day you die.” ″That is true,” Franklin chimes in, giving me a kiss on my cheek. ″What?” I screech. “What about free will and all that shit?” ″You lost that the second he laid his eyes on you, girl.” Killian pulls a face as if I’m asking the stupidest question in the world. ″That’s also true,” Franklin agrees.
