Well before their man won the nomination, the Biden team had decided to make the election a referendum on Trump, mostly because abject hatred of Trump was the main—and perhaps the only—unifying issue in the Democratic Party.
Interesting quote. Aren't all elections referendums on the previous President? Won't the 2024 election be a referendum on President Biden? I mean, isn't that the definition of the word?

There is not 1 reference to any "riots" in the link at all, and the "attempts to keep the Electoral College from voting for Trump" in the article is the single sentence:
"Electors had been flooded with emails and phone calls urging them not to support the billionaire."
I think this is a bit of a stretch.
There was chatter about using the Twenty-Fifth Amendment to the Constitution—which gives the vice president and cabinet members the ability to remove the president if he is unable to serve—to get rid of Trump.

I have a better one for you. How about ABC News reporting that members of Trump's cabinet were discussing it. Not the nasty Democratic operatives - but his own, hand picked cabinet.

President Trump was actually impeached two different times. The Senate failed to remove him both times, but he was still impeached twice according to the government of the United States of America.

Because there are more rude Trump supporters means he should have won? I don't see how this helps anything. You don't condem this kind of behaviour - almost seem to encourage it.

The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative site backed by GOP donor/ billionaire Paul Singer is who originally hired Fusion GPS during the Republican primary season- not Marc Elias.

The Russia collusion hysteria made it difficult for Trump to staff his administration, and it even led to a powerful special counsel investigation before it was revealed that Elias had paid for the dossier as part of his legal work for the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign. While journalists were encouraged to take the Steele dossier seriously, its origins as untrustworthy partisan opposition research had been hidden in the $5.6 million in legal fees that had been paid to Perkins Coie.48
Here is the FBI's most wanted list in regards to Russian interference in the 2016 election. These charges and indictments came down on July 13, 2018 under the Trump Administration.

Also note, the investigation into Russian interference it the 2016 election was NOT started because of the Steele Dossier. The Dossier gave more evidence, but IT was not why the investigation happened.

They sought to find out who funded Fusion GPS’s work. Nunes was attacked for his efforts, but they paid off when it turned out that Elias, Clinton, and the Democrats had been behind the dossier all along.49
Except that this isn't true. Perkins Cole hired Fusion GPS in May of 2016 . From September of 2015 until May of 2016, the research was being conducted for the conservative/ GOP funding Washington Free Beacon. 9 months of research that the GOP conducted to keep Trump out of office.
Elias’s real passion had long been helping Democrats win elections by changing voting laws.
And how exactly do you defend this little bit of slander?
How does the evil Mr. Elias change these laws? Who gave him the power? What laws does he change to make it easier for Democrats to win? Is it simply that he fights against voter suppression laws to make it easier for everyone to vote? If that helps Democrats its because democrat voters are more often suppressed that GOP voters?
If Elias hadn’t changed the outcome of Al Franken’s election, Obamacare probably would not have passed.
Elias has amazing powers to be able to change the outcome of an election all by himself. Quite amazing bit of slander there.
Trump tweeted, “As soon as Democrats sent their best Election stealing lawyer, Marc Elias, to Broward County they miraculously started finding Democrat votes.”
And Trump only tells the truth, right?
