Q. Ida (Editor in Chief )
Food answer honest and still professional and showing the humanity of it all. Sad but true our black women/girl victims are not provided the same sense of urgency as non black victims as demonstrated in this very case. Her mom was shrugged off when she reported her child missing. The police even directly told her with no ambiguity that Masey was likely a run away before even listening to the details of the case. So unfortunately this very policing makes it aboit race and I think one would be less than honest not to recognize this may be a bit more personal when they are a black woman reporting of the murder of a black female child. That does not mean Jordan can not remain professional. She can do her job with excellence, ethically with respect to finding justice for beautiful Masey, her family, friends and community.
