Why should they care to do a proper investigation when they were able to easily charge these children and contruct a false narrative. They can close this case and don't spend more time or resoueces on this case involving a murdered black child in the Englewood /southside area. According to them it is waste of their time to look outside the convenient arrest. Furthermore they have the thought why care? These people dont care about themselves or their community in this crime stricten area. There is so much crime and other murders what is one more unsolved crime? But since the media is involved and the community is watching lets just make a quick arrest of anyone even innocent children and destroy their lives just to day we made an arrest and move on.
