Misdirected gunfire and stray bullets were very real dangers in this community.
Indeed I lost a few classmates and friends by gun violence in the Englewood area. Also one of my good friends was robbed and hit with a gun walking from KKC to the bus stop to go to work. On east 63rd across from the Aldi. Thank goodness he was not shot. But the wound from being hit by the gun was bad. It is sad I'm grateful he was hit my the gun and not shot by the gun. However, it still does justify the race bias by Scott and other especially in law enforcement like him.
