I’m not Willy Wonka, so I don’t sugarcoat shit.

He’s like the sun. The energy radiating off him pulls you in and you can’t help but get closer. Aching to feel the heat on your skin. To make contact with something so powerful. So beautiful. Even if it burns you.

“Jesus.” Swear it grows bigger the longer I stare at it. “What the fuck do you feed that thing?” A choked laugh escapes him before his expression evens out and he presses his thumb to my bottom lip. “Your mouth in a minute.”

although I’m on his stake and he’s ready to light the match, it doesn’t mean I won’t put up a fight. He might burn me, but I’ll go down like Joan of Arc.

“Mistakes don’t define who someone is, Phoenix. It’s what you do after that does.”

Phoenix’s are supposed to rise from the ashes… But this one wants to burn.

“Can I kiss you?” I mean, if you have to ask…

I can’t stand here and tell her I’m a better guy than George…because I’m not. I can’t offer to comfort and console her like he can…because I don’t know how. I can’t tell her I’ll never hurt her…because I did.

it’s not the moments when he’s an asshole that hurt me the most…it’s moments like these.

I don’t understand how the guy who’s trying to wash away the cruel words I wrote on my body…is the very same one who caused me so much pain it put a crack in the foundation of my psyche and irrevocably changed me.

It’s another reminder that even though pain can fade…it never really goes away.

It seriously sucks when the person you hate is also the very same person who gives you mind-blowing dick.

I smile so hard it hurts…until I remember. The sun is exceptional, alluring, and mystifying… But it burns when you get too close.
