Think Indigenous: Native American Spirituality for a Modern World

In our world, there are people who not only have a deep spiritual relationship with earth energies but are able to communicate with them and use that ability to help others connect with profound knowledge and healing. Genuine healers say that they are not the ones healing anything or anybody; they are merely holding space for the people to connect with the knowledge to heal themselves. In fact, I say, “I am only an instrument through which Spirit connects. I’m a human man. If a person is not ready or willing to connect within, then they won’t be able to understand this knowledge or be healed by this medicine. I have no authority to say who is, or is not, ready or able. That is for each person’s spiritual council to be asked and accept.”
