Saffy pressed the receiver close, trying to muffle the hoot of the troopers. On the other side of the backroom window, they had inexplicably filled a condom with shaving cream and were whacking one another with it, waiting for it to pop.
Saffy sees everyone else in her field that isn’t a woman as stupid or racist. There isn’t a single male she interacts with that isn’t a villain in her story.
Saffy had not saved anyone.
I understand Saffy’s intentions were good, but Ansel had been silent for so long. She had no sound evidence of his involvement in the murders, but still let her paranoia (derived from one traumatic interaction with him as children) throw a wrench into his routine. She poked the sleeping beast. THAT led Jenny’s death.
Humanity can discard you, but they cannot deny it.
