“It was nothing,” Faria said. “We were just messing with each other. Now, about that slang…” she trailed off, hoping Nellie would change the subject. “Hunk,” Nellie grinned. “Say it with me now.” Faria hesitated a moment. “Say it in a sentence, please.” “Hunter is a major hunk.” She cackled her head off as Faria tried to shove her out the door. The kid made her crazy sometimes, but she did love her dearly.

I should've kept highlighting these random quips from Nellie because the vast majority made me legit laugh aloud!
