I can’t lie; being in this situation had me appreciating black women more because I didn’t appreciate them months ago. A black woman was sitting next to me, fighting for me as if I was her fuckin’ son. She was passionate about this case, so much so that she made that shit clear to Taliban that he better not give her a dollar! As if I was her son, she wanted me home. It made me realize that ain’t nobody going to fight for me like a black woman.
